1. PREAMBLE
This Membership Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between the undersigned individual (“Member”) and Vehicle Vault, LLC (“The Club”), a private membership-only establishment located at 145 Island Drive, Hilton Head Island, SC 29926. Membership is a privilege, not a right, and is contingent upon adherence to the club’s policies and standards.
Membership is limited to a maximum of 100 members, with potential for expansion only if current members vote to increase the limit. Qualified applicants are selected on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to approval or denial at the club’s sole discretion.
A member is an individual who has been officially accepted and enrolled, with rights extending to their spouse/significant partner and dependent children residing in the household. Members may bring their own beverages and consume alcohol on-site; the club does not sell or serve alcohol.
2. MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA
Membership is granted by invitation or referral only. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, demonstrate discretion, refined social conduct, and tasteful living.
3. MEMBERSHIP DUES AND PAYMENT
- Monthly Dues: $350, payable in advance. First year paid in full $4200.00
- First Year Payment: Paid upfront via automatic draft or electronic transfer.
- Additional Services: Vehicle storage ($200/month per vehicle), motorcycle storage ($100/month), lockers ($300/year).
- Fee Changes: Dues and fees may be amended with a 30-day written notice.
4. ENTRY PROTOCOLS
- Members receive an electronic access device for entry.
- Sharing credentials leads to immediate expulsion.
- Entry devices must be returned upon termination.
- If entry device is lost, member shall pay $50 fee to receive a replacement.
5. HOUSE RULES
- Confidentiality of members and guests is strictly required. Public sharing of photos or information is prohibited.
- Dress code: Smart casual attire.
- Behavior: Respect staff and other members. No illegal substances, disruptive behavior, loud noise, solicitation, or outside food without approval.
- Mobile devices: Must be silenced; no calls in common areas.
- No pets, except service animals.
6. TERMINATION
- Either party can terminate with 30 days’ written notice.
- Immediate termination is possible for violations or conduct issues.
- Membership fees are non-refundable and non-proratable.
7. CONFIDENTIALITY
Members must keep club information and activities private. Disclosure of identities, images, or internal info may
lead to immediate termination.
8. PRIVATE AND COMMUNITY EVENTS
- The club may host private events or charitable functions, with at least 30 days’ notice.
- Private room reservations (e.g., Cadillac Room) are available upon approval.
- Members are responsible for cleanup; failure to do so may incur a $150 fee.
9. VEHICLE STORAGE (MEMBER EXCLUSIVE)
- Storage costs $200/month per vehicle.
- Limited spaces, on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Vehicles must be insured; damage or theft is not the club’s responsibility.
- Removal requires 48 hours’ notice; unclaimed vehicles over 90 days may be evicted.
10. LOCKER PURCHASE (MEMBER EXCLUSIVE)
- Lockers cost $300/year, non-transferable, for personal use.
- Contents are member’s responsibility; club isn’t liable.
- Storage prohibited for hazardous or illegal items.
- Termination: 30 days’ notice; club repurchases remaining equity at 75%.
11. PRIVATE ROOM & KITCHEN RENTAL
- Members may reserve private rooms for events, approved in advance.
- Kitchen is available for outside caterers with prior coordination.
- Members are responsible for cleanup; $150 fee may apply for failure of cleanup.
12. HOLIDAY AND BLACKOUT DATES
- Access may be restricted during holidays or scheduled maintenance.
- Members will be notified at least 30 days in advance.
13. OPERATING HOURS & SERVICES
- Daily from 9:30 AM to 12:30 AM.
- Hours and services may be modified with prior notice.
14. GUEST POLICY
- Guests must be 21+.
- Members are responsible for guest conduct.
15. LIABILITY & INDEMNIFICATION
- Members agree to indemnify and hold harmless the club from claims, damages, injuries, or losses arising from their activities or those of their guests.
- The club isn’t responsible for personal injury, damage, or theft.
- Member acknowledges participation involves risks and member accepts that risk.
